SQL Database Analysis in Excel

In-depth analysis of a hypothetical tutoring business with a database. Then used SQL queries to export necessary data from the database and import into Excel for further analysis. This project features coding from a database as well as advanced functions of Excel using formulas, pivot tables, data slicer, and timeline functions.

In this assignment, I learned how to write SQL queries to pull data out of a database and organize it in a meaningful way that is useful to an organization. I also learned how to use some advanced features of Excel which would be advantageous in virtually all career settings. Knowing how to make sense of data is a valuable skill that can give an organization a competitive advantage. If I could do this assignment again I would spend more time learning how to use SQL in the DataCamp tutorial. There is a lot of information available on the DataCamp site that would be advantageous for me to learn how to do it.
